The utility model discloses a map reading lamp which comprises a lamp body shell, a lamp holder shell, a switch button, a battery assembly, a control circuit board and an LED lamp. The lamp body shell and the lamp holder shell are connected through the snakelike magic protective tube, the control circuit board is fixedly installed in the lamp body shell, the switch button is arranged on the outer side of the lamp body shell, connected with the control circuit board through a bonding wire and used for controlling on and off of the LEDs, and the LED lamp is arranged in the lamp holder shell and connected with the control circuit board. The battery assembly is installed in the lamp body shell and used for providing power for the map reading lamp. Compared with the prior art, the map reading lamp is strictly designed according to military standards, and the performance and the quality of the map reading lamp are far higher than those of existing similar products designed according to civil standards; and a magic
