A novel ring main unit comprises a cabinet body and a cabinet door, the cabinet door is rotationally connected to the inner side of an opening of the cabinet body, a load switch and a fuse are installed in the cabinet body, a guide rail groove is formed in the position, rotationally connected with the cabinet door, of the cabinet body, the guide rail groove comprises a transverse section and a longitudinal section, the transverse section and the longitudinal section are perpendicularly connected with each other, and the transverse section and the longitudinal section are perpendicular to each other. The transverse section is arranged parallel to the opening of the cabinet body, and the longitudinal section is arranged perpendicular to the opening of the cabinet body, so that the cabinet door can slide into the longitudinal section from the transverse section along the guide rail groove after being opened in a rotating mode, and therefore the cabinet door can retract into the cabinet body of the ring main unit
