A pole piece contour detection device comprises a base, a limiting block, a transparent partition plate and a detection auxiliary assembly. A groove is formed in the center of the base, the transparent partition plate is embedded in the groove, and the limiting block is arranged close to the edge of the groove; the detection auxiliary assembly comprises a coiled material, a winding roller and an unwinding roller, the coiled material is wound on the unwinding roller, the coiled material penetrates through a gap between the transparent partition plate and the bottom face of the groove and is connected with the winding roller, and a datum line is arranged on the side, facing the transparent partition plate, of the coiled material. The reference line on the coiled material serves as a reference for detecting the appearance of the pole piece, whether the appearance of the pole piece meets the standard or not can be recognized by judging whether the reference line is consistent with the edge of the pole piece to be
