A pivot device comprises a first shaft, a second shaft, a third shaft, a first support, a switching mechanism and a linkage mechanism. The first shaft, the second shaft and the third shaft are arranged in parallel. The first shaft and the second shaft are pivoted to the first support. The switching mechanism is arranged between the first shaft and the second shaft, so that the first shaft and thesecond shaft rotate in a segmented mode in the opening and closing actions of the pivot device. And the linkage mechanism is arranged between the second shaft and the third shaft, so that the first bracket and the third shaft simultaneously rotate in opposite rotating directions. An electronic device comprises the pivot device, a first plate, a second plate and an auxiliary plate, a main screen and an auxiliary screen can be arranged on the first plate and the auxiliary plate respectively, and more information can be displayed. When the first plate piece and the second plate piece are unfoldedthrough the pivot device,
