Summary:The utility model relates to a phase loss protector for a three-phase electric motor. Main fuses in any two phases of a three-phase electric motor are respectively connected in parallel with a double-bladed knife switch, and the other phase is connected with an auxiliary relay whose normally open contact is connected to an alternating current contactor. One end of a fuse wire on one side of the double-bladed knife switch is connected with a fuse wire with a greater melting point on the other side, and wire diameters at the connecting site of the two fuse wires are the same, so that the site can be fused the earliest due to the increase of electric current when a phase loss occurs, and accordingly, the electric motor can stop running. The device has the advantages of powerful adaptability to various environments and simple circuit, and can ensure that the electric motor can be stopped running or can not be started no matter whether the phase loss occurs internally or externally.
