Summary:The utility model relates to a mechanical strength testing device which comprises an inverted L-shaped support column, a base, a pulley mechanism, a rotation mechanism and a steel wire rope, wherein the rotation mechanism comprises a rotation roller and a U-shaped fixing block; one end of the steel wire rope is wound on the rotation roller; the other end of the steel wire rope sequentially penetrates through the pulley mechanism and is fixed on the top of the inverted L-shaped support column. When the tensile resistance of a power supply wire is tested, one end of the power supply wire is firstly fixed on a hook, a testing weight block of a corresponding weight is hung at the other end of the power supply wire, subsequently a rotation disc is rotated to withdraw the steel wire rope, after the testing weight block is hoisted up to be in a certain height, a safety pin is inserted into a safety pin hole, then the rotation disc can be fixed and does not rotate any longer, and after the operation is stopped for one or two minutes, the power supply wire testing data can be obtained; the operation can be completed by only one operator, so that the defect that the power supply wire needs to be pulled by operators can be overcome, the labor cost can be reduced, and meanwhile by adopting the mechanical strength testing device, as the pull strength is constant and unchanged, the obtained data are relatively accurate, and the testing can be conveniently, rapidly and accurately completed.
