Summary: | The utility model relates to a hanging type elevator. The elevator comprises an outer compartment body, a compartment, a power mechanism, safety facilities, a control system, a loading sensor, an overweight alarm apparatus and a balance weight, and the compartment moves vertically in an ascending and descending passageway enclosed by the outer compartment body. The power mechanism comprises a motor, a transmission mechanism and a traction rope, and the motor is connected with belt pulleys of the transmission mechanism or with gears. The transmission mechanism is provided with a rope sheave and a deflecting pulley, and two compartment downward-slide sheaves are arranged on the lower portion of the compartment. One end of the traction rope is fixed to the top of the ascending and descending passageway, and the other end of the traction rope bypasses the two compartment downward-slide sheaves, the rope sheave and the deflecting pulley and then bypasses the rope sheave once again before being connected to the balance weight. The control system is electrically connected with the motor, the safety facilities and illumination equipment. According to the hanging type elevator, by arranging the compartment downward-slide sheaves, one end of the traction rope is fixed to the top of the ascending and descending passageway, and the other end of the traction rope bypasses the two compartment downward-slide sheaves and the transmission mechanism before being connected to the balance weight, so that the safety and reliability of the elevator operation are improved. |
