The utility model discloses an earthing switch, which comprises a moving contact arranged on a moving contact rod and a static contact fixed on a contact seat. The earthing switch is characterized in that: the static contact is U-shaped and comprises an opening terminal, clamping terminals and a fixed terminal; the opening terminal faces the direction where the moving contact is inserted; both sides of the clamping terminals comprise contact panels; springs are arranged at the outsides of the contact panels; the springs are fixed on a housing; and the contact panels, close to the opening terminal, are inclined planes. The earthing switch is advantaged in that: since the moving contact slides into the static contact along the opening terminal of the static contact, interference isn't generated and the phenomenon of rotating disability is avoided; furthermore, inclined planes of the static contact and a locking device are arranged, so the sliding is accurate and convenient; reliable contact is ensured; and safety is increased.
