The utility model discloses a clamping type jig for an LED lamp with a groove in the back. The jig comprises a jig main body, wherein a recess part is formed in the jig main body; one or more positioning ribs capable of being correspondingly inserted into the groove in the back of the LED lamp are formed in the recess part; an incision is formed in a position, which is correspondingly between every two of the positioning ribs, on the wall body of the recess part. Compared with the prior art, the clamping type jig has the advantages that the working requirement on automatic production of an assembly line of the LED lamp can be met, so that the LED lamp can be quickly assembled and disassembled on the jig, and the production efficiency is improved.
