The high voltage DC cable comprises a conductor, a semi-conduction conductor inner layer, an insulation layer, a semi-conduction conductor outer layer, a metal shield and an outer sheath, wherein the semi-conduction conductor inner layer wraps the conductor, the semi-conduction conductor inner layer is externally sleeved in the insulation layer, the insulation layer is externally wrapped in the semi-conduction conductor outer layer, the semi-conduction conductor outer layer is externally sleeved in the metal shield, the outer sheath wraps the metal shield, the semi-conduction conductor inner layer is provided with a conduction filler, the conduction filler is embedded into the conductor to fix the conductor, the inner surface of the insulation layer is provided at least one layer of unsaturated fatty acid, and a thickness ratio among the semi-conduction conductor inner layer, the insulation layer, the semi-conduction conductor outer layer, the metal shield and the outer sheath is 2:10:1:2:4. The high voltage DC cable has a simple structure and can effectively reduce space charges accumulated when a practical crosslinking polyethylene material is used as a DC cable insulation layer.
