The horizontal type crystallizer comprises a horizontal crystal slurry tank body, a cooling water device, a driving system and a support device, wherein a feeding/discharging opening and an observation hole are formed in the crystal slurry tank body; the cooling water device is fixedly welded with the crystal slurry tank body; the cooling water device comprises a cooling water jacket, and a cooling water inlet and a cooling water outlet which are formed in two ends of the cooling water jacket; a driving hub and a support hub are arranged outside the cooling water device; the driving system is arranged on the driving hub; the support system is arranged on the support hub; the driving hub is connected with a driving motor which is used for changing the speed of the driving hub; the support hub at one end, close to the observation hole, of the crystal slurry tank body is an adjustable lifting hub; an inclination angle is formed between the support hub and the horizontal plane by adjusting the support hub. Compared with the prior art, the crystal slurry is fully mixed; the feeding/discharging hole is unlikely to be blocked by crystals during discharging; the size of the crystal particles can be effectively ensured; the structure is simple; the quality of products is improved; the production cost is reduced.
