The utility model discloses an electric connector which electrically contacts a butt joint connector. The electric connector comprises a casing body, an insulating body which is accommodated in the casing body, and a first conductive module. A hollow butt joint cavity is formed from the front end to the tail end of the insulating body, and a tongue plate of the butt joint connector is inserted into the hollow butt joint cavity. The first conductive module is accommodated in the butt joint cavity. The first conductive module comprises a first insulating seat and a number of first conductive terminals which are carried on the first insulating seat. Each first conductive terminal comprises a first contact part which is exposed in the butt joint cavity. An abutting part extends on the front end of the insulating body. A limiting part extends on the front end of the opening. The abutting part abuts against the limiting part. According to the electric connector provided by the utility model, the limiting part which limits the insulating body is arranged on the front end of the casing body, which can prevent the insulating body from deforming; even after repeated insertion and extraction, stable butt joint can be carried out; and the service life is long.
