The utility model provides a wheel type direct-drive wind generator which comprises a main shaft, a blade support which is installed on the main shaft and is provided with two ends connected with the main shaft in the axis direction of the main shaft, a plurality of blades which are installed on the blade support and drive the blade support to rotate around the main shaft, a wheel type rotor which is installed on the main shaft and located between the two ends of the blade support, and a wheel type stator which is installed on the main shaft and fixed relative to the main shaft. When the blade support rotates around the main shaft, the wheel type rotor is driven by the blade support to rotate around the main shaft, the wheel type stator is located between the two ends of the blade support and located on the inner side of the wheel type rotor, and a gap exists between the wheel type stator and the wheel type rotor. The wheel type direct-drive wind generator is simple in structure and low in weight.
