A corrosion resistant layer, a base layer and a rubber layer special for gas are arranged on the pipe body from outside to inside; the corrosion resistant layer is made of matrix resin and performance additive materials; the base layer comprises a PE outer layer, a metal net core layer and a PE inner layer, a plurality of metal wires extending to the two ends of the pipe body in the axial direction of the pipe body are arranged between the PE outer layer and the metal net core layer, the metal wires are evenly distributed on the circumferential outer surface of the metal net core layer, and one ends of the metal wires are connected with a detector alarm at one end of the pipe body; a latex layer is laid on the outer surface of the rubber layer special for gas. The PE composite gas pipe is simple in structure, easy to manufacture, good in airtightness, high in safety performance, convenient to detect and repair, capable of being effectively prevented from being damaged by termites and rats, not prone to deformation and aging, long in service life and especially suitable for conveying natural gas, coal gas, liquefied petroleum gas and the like.
