A safety belt for horses comprises a main ring belt used for surrounding the waist of a rider, two fixing belts, two auxiliary belts and an auxiliary ring belt; the two ends of the main ring belt are connected through fasteners; the fixing belts connected with the main ring belt are used for being connected with a saddle; the two fixing belts cross at an angle; one end of every fixing belt is connected with the main ring belt, and the other end thereof is provided a lock to be connected with the saddle; the auxiliary belts connected with the main ring belt or the fixing belts are used for sleeving legs of a horse; the auxiliary ring belt is disposed at the rear of the main ring belt. According to the structural design, the main ring belt and the auxiliary ring belts are used for wrapping the body of the riser, the fixing belts and the auxiliary belts are used for being connected to the horse and the saddle, after the rider rides on the saddle, the length of the main ring belt is adjusted, the main ring belt is tied to the waist of the rider, the fixing belts are connected to the main ring belt, one end of every fixing belt is connected to the saddle, and in this way, the rider is fixed to the saddle by double fixations, and safety is greatly improved.
