The thin type key switch comprises a rubber cover, a bottom seat dynamic terminal, a static terminal, and a pressing elastic sheet, wherein the dynamic terminal is provided with a first contact portion, the first contact portion is disposed below the pressing portion, the static terminal is provided with a second contact portion, the second contact portion is disposed between two protruding columns and below the first contact portion, the pressing elastic sheet is provided with a pressing contact portion which abuts to the pressing portion, and a plurality of paw sheets stretch outward from the pressing contact portion. Conduction of the dynamic terminal and the static terminal is achieved is such a way that: the paw sheet are pressed, to drive the pressing contact portion to move downward, and therefore the pressing portion is driven to move downward, and the pressing portion presses the first contact portion to move downward to contact with the second contact portion. The reliability of the product is improved, the service life of the product is prolonged, thinning of the product is achieved, and the touch feeling of the product is improved.
