Summary:Provided is a power socket connector with a guiding function. The power socket connector comprises an insulated body, a plurality of conductive terminals disposed on the insulated body, and a metallic shielding housing coating the insulated body. The insulated body comprises an opening and an accommodating chamber extending from the opening. The metallic shielding housing comprises a plurality of sidewalls. An elastic arm is formed in one of the sidewalls by tearing and extends towards the opening direction. A part of the elastic arm is inserted into the accommodating chamber. The metallic shielding housing is further equipped with a guiding member. The guiding member and the elastic arm are located at the same sidewall. The guiding member is closer to the opening than the elastic arm, extends towards the accommodating chamber and is provided with a guiding portion. The guiding portion guides a plug connector so as to prevent the plug connector from obliquely plugging to the elastic arm direction. Thus, damage to the elastic arm caused by the abutting of the plug connector can be prevented.
