The structure of an existing casting part is changed into the structure that multiple components are welded together, casting is replaced with casting, and replaceable cast iron sliding plates are added on four oblique guide surfaces; during assembly welding, welding current is controlled, relatively simultaneous welding is performed from two ends to prevent oversize deformation, and low temperature tempering is performed to eliminate residual stress during subsequent machining and use. The utility model further provides the swing grinding machine applying the slider. Maintenance cost is lowered, equipment utilization rate is increased, equipment service life is prolonged, and product quality of swing-grinding forgings can be improved by the more reasonable slider structure.
