According to the double-layer water retaining flowerpot, the inner flowerpot body is connected with the outer flowerpot body in a nested mode to form double layers, the holes are formed in the bottom of the inner flowerpot body, when too much water is irrigated, redundant water can flow into a water retaining cavity formed between the inner flowerpot body and the outer flowerpot body through the small holes, and the problems that the plants are dried up due to insufficient watering and the environment is polluted due to leakage caused by excessive watering are solved.
