The U-shaped or V-shaped broach is technically characterized in that a U-shaped mounting groove is formed in the axial center of one face of a broach body, wherein a tooth module is arranged in the U-shaped mounting groove; at least five through holes are also formed in the U-shaped mounting groove; screws are arranged in the through holes; a bolt and the tooth module are fixed together; a tooth of the tooth module is U-shaped or V-shaped. The broach has the advantages that the material cost and the machining cost are greatly reduced since the maintenance is facilitated after damage of the tooth. The broach also has the characteristics of simple structure, easiness and convenience in operation, high reliability and the like.
