Water-repellent protrusions are arranged on the periphery of the surface layer and bonded to the periphery of the surface layer, the heights of the water-repellent protrusions are 1-3 mm, the widths of the water-repellent protrusions are 5-7 mm, and the water-repellent protrusions are made of cotton fabric which is finished by water repellent finish agents. The sanitary pad can prevent side leakage, and is good in breathability, capable of preventing bacterial breeding, simple in structure and convenient to use.
