Summary:Disclosed is a sidewalk apparatus for preventing red light running of pedestrians. The apparatus comprises traffic lights, a sensing system, a prompting system and an orientation strong-sound denial system, wherein the sensing system is used for sensing whether red light runners exist when the red light of the traffic lights is lighted, the prompting system is used for prompting the red light runners of stopping red light running behaviors when the sensing system sensed the existence of the red light runners, and the orientation strong-sound denial system is used for emitting an orientation strong-sound acoustic beam to the red light runners in case that the prompting system cannot prevent the red light running behaviors.
