Summary:The utility model discloses a power factor correction circuit capable of reducing the input harmonic content. The power factor correction circuit comprises a PFC chip, an inductor, a MOS transistor, a diode, a first capacitor, a second capacitor and a resistor, wherein an input terminal of the power factor correction circuit is connected with a terminal of a primary coil of the inductor, the other terminal of the primary coil of the inductor is connected with an output terminal of the power factor correction circuit via the forward diode, a ZCD pin of the PFC chip is connected to the ground via a secondary coil of the inductor and the first capacitor, a CS pin is connected to the ground via the resistor, a GD pin is connected with a grid electrode of the MOS transistor, a drain electrode of the MOS transistor is connected with an anode of the diode, a source electrode of the MOS transistor is connected with the CS pin, and a cathode of the diode is connected to the ground via the second capacitor. According to the power factor correction circuit, the problem of high harmonic content during the high-voltage input is solved, and the cost is low.
