The embodiment of the utility model provides a lighting device which can restrain hot spots and emit light evenly. The lighting device is provided with a body, light guide plates covering the body and light-emitting elements arranged between the body and the light guide plates and on the outer circumferential faces, opposite to the light guide plates, of the body. The optical axes of the light-emitting elements and the outer circumferential faces intersect. The light guide plates are provided with the peripheral end faces capable of achieving incidence of radiated light of the light-emitting elements and bent portions for changing the transmission directions of the radiated light into the directions intersecting with the optical axes and guiding the light to the center side of the body.
