The utility model discloses an improved power unit comprising a power unit body provided with a rectification device and an invertion device, and a wind cavity chamber provided with at least one capacitor equalizing resistor and a bypass module. A first binding post on the power unit body is electrically connected with the bypass module. The capacitor equalizing resistor and the user-selectable bypass module, which are high heating elements, are disposed in the wind cavity chamber. Therefore, the high heat generated during work of the capacitor equalizing resistor can be sent away rapidly and thus the influence of high temperature on the power unit parts is reduced greatly; as a user-selectable part, the bypass module can be arranged externally, so that the influence of the heat generated during work of the bypass module on the power unit is reduced and the universality of a main body of the power unit is high.
