Summary:An explosion-proof frequency converter having a water cooling structure comprises an explosion-proof shell and an explosion-proof door. A water cooling system is mounted inside the explosion-proof shell. One side of the explosion-proof door is mounted on the explosion-proof shell via door spindles. The explosion-proof door is also connected with the explosion-proof shell via bolts. The explosion-proof door is provided with windows and cover plates used for closing the windows. The cover plates are provided with openings for a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe of the water cooling system to pass through. The water inlet pipe and the water outlet pipe are led out of the explosion-proof shell by the openings. The cover plates are mounted on the explosion-proof door by bolts. When the explosion-proof frequency converter needs to be maintained or inspected, work in the interior of the explosion-proof frequency converter can be conducted simply after disassembling the cover plates on the explosion-proof door
