Summary:A vehicle wheel with a brake device comprises a vehicle wheel body and a wheel cover arranged on the side face of the vehicle wheel body. Two stay bars allowed to be retractable are arranged on the wheel cover and adjusted through a control mechanism. The two stay bars are arranged to form an included angle of 180 degrees. Two stay bar rings are further arranged on the edge of the wheel cover and located on the two sides of a vehicle wheel axle, and when in a strutting state, the two stay bars penetrate through the stay bar rings, the length of the parts, extending out of the stay bar rings, of the stay bars is larger than the distance between the outmost side of the vehicle wheel body and the stay bar rings. The vehicle wheel is simple in structure and reasonable in design, the problem that a stay bar is prone to being broken is effectively solved through the arrangement of the stay bar rings, and meanwhile the cost is low because the structure is simple.
