A power generating device of exercise equipment comprises a box body, a motion transformation mechanism and a variable speed power generating mechanism. The motion transformation mechanism comprises a sector gear combination connected with a rocking bar of the exercise equipment, a linkage gear in the section gear combination is arranged on a driving shaft in a sleeved mode, the driving shaft is further sleeved with two ratchet combinations, and bevel gears in the ratchet combinations are respectively in meshing transmission with a driven bevel gear. The variable speed power generating mechanism comprises a transmission shaft connected with the driven bevel gear in a sleeved mode, the transmission shaft is sleeved with a driving wheel of a variable speed wheel train, the other variable speed gears are in meshing transmission in sequence, and the gear arranged at the tail end is connected with the stretching end of an input shaft of a generator in a sleeved mode.
