Summary:The utility model relates to a compound explosion-proof electric motor, comprising: a main body shaped as a box body defining a space part in the interior, and provided with an axial end being open; a terminal box shaped as a box body defining an internal part in which a terminal cable is positioned from the outside, and provided with an axial end of the terminal box being opened and configured in a manner of being opposite to the open axial end of the main body; and a middle plate configured between the opposite ends of the terminal box and the main body, so as to connect the opposite ends of the terminal box and the main body by means of an additional connecting member, and to form a terminal insertion hole so that the end parts of the terminal cable are arranged inside the main body in a penetrating manner.
