The upper sealing structure comprises a sealing plate and a fire-resistant cloth, wherein a handle is arranged on the sealing plate; the sealing plate is divided into end part sealing plates and side part sealing plates; the end part sealing plates and the side part sealing plates are arranged at the both ends and both sides of the edge of the upper end surface of the electrolysis cell respectively; hanging lugs are arranged on the side part sealing plates; the side part sealing plates are hung on the cross beam of the upper structure via the hanging lugs; the fire-resistant cloth is arranged at a gap between a conducting rod and the sealing plate. The upper sealing structure disclosed by the utility model is convenient in electrode replacement, capable of reducing the labour intensity, good in sealing effect, and capable of reducing the energy consumption.
