Summary:A device for priming tobacco leaves of a tobacco plant from top to bottom comprises a gantry type rack (1), a grating type horizontal leave frame (2), a chain wheel system and a drive device (3), wherein the grating type horizontal leave frame (2) is arranged inside the rack (1), the chain wheel system drives the leave frame (2) to move up and down, and the drive device drives the chain wheel to rotate positively and reversely. The leave frame (2) is connected with the chain wheel system through four connecting bases (18), and the four connecting bases (18) are fixedly connected with the edges of the leave frame (2) respectively. The chain wheel system drives the horizontal leave frame (2) to move up and down, and thus the tobacco leaves are primed when the leave frame moves downwards. The device for priming the tobacco leaves of the tobacco plant from top to bottom is simple in structure, low in manufacturing cost, high in priming efficiency and capable of priming all tobacco leaves.
