Summary:The utility model relates to a zero-power-consumption PTC starter circuit which comprises a circuit composed of a positive temperature coefficient thermistor, a bidirectional silicon controlled rectifier and a trigger circuit. The circuit is connected to a starting coil of a compressor in series. The trigger circuit is composed of a rectifier bridge, a capacitor and a resistor. One end of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor is connected with an output terminal of an ancillary coil of the compressor, and the other end of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor is connected with a T2 terminal of the bidirectional silicon controlled rectifier. A T1 terminal of the bidirectional silicon controlled rectifier is connected with an output terminal of an operation coil. The capacitor and the resistor are connected between two DC output terminals of the rectifier bridge in the trigger circuit in parallel.
