Provided is a light-emitting diode (LED) illumination unit. The LED illumination unit mainly comprises a lamp panel, LEDs, a control panel, a control component, a wire, a hanging bracket and the like. A support plate is arranged on the hanging bracket, and bolts penetrate through the control panel then fasten the control panel on the support plate. The lamp panel is clamped in a clamping groove of the hanging bracket, bonding pieces are attached on a top plate of the hanging bracket, and the LED illumination unit is fixed on an installation base body. Electric supply is connected with a power supply plugging piece and transmits electricity to the LED on the lamp plate through the control panel. When a lamp is large, several LED illumination units can be arranged on the installation base body according to demands of illuminating brightness, and neighboring LED illumination units are in electric connection with the power supply plugging piece through respective unit plugging suite.
