Summary: | The utility model provides a transient-overload preventing adapter, which comprises an EMI (electro-magnetic interference) circuit module, a rectification filtering module, a power converting module, a PWM (pulse-width modulation) controlling module, a voltage outputting module and a voltage stabilizing module. The EMI circuit module is electrically connected with the rectification filtering module, and a voltage dependent resistor is electrically connected with the EMI circuit module at the position of the voltage input port. The voltage dependent resistor is a non-linear over-voltage protecting semiconductor element which is arranged at the position of the input port of the EMI circuit to effectively protect interior circuits of the adapter from being damaged by high voltage. |
