The utility model relates to a ventilating system of a coal mine, which includes a working surface, a goaf, a first return airway, a second return airway, a second drift and a first drift, wherein the second return airway and the second drift are arranged on the two sides of the working surface and communicated through a crosshead before the working surface; the first return airway is arranged beside the second return airway; a closable inlet/outlet is arranged between the first and the second drifts; and a special gas exhaust opening is arranged between the second return airway beside the goaf and the first return airway. The ventilating system has big air exhaust capacity, has no newly-excavated airway, is free from the trouble of follow-up extracting tension, adopts the used steel support beside the special gas exhaust opening to simply support the small cross section, has cheap engineering cost and small engineering quantity, and can ensure 24-hour uninterrupted operation through the regulation and the co
