A light-emitting diode (LED) illuminating unit mainly comprises a lamp panel, a light-emitting diode, a control panel, a control element, leads and the like. Two ends of a hanging rod are provided with clamp heads and openings, the clamp heads are respectively clamped into a control panel clamp hole and a hanging frame clamp hole. A metal lining is arranged between the control panel and the lamp panel and fastened through a bolt and a nut, and a control panel conducting layer and a lamp panel conducting layer are electrically connected with the metal lining through bolts and nuts. A bonding piece is adhered to a hanging frame and enables the LED illuminating unit to be adhered to an installing base body of an existing lamp (or fixing nails, such as screws, iron nails are utilized). Mains supply is connected to a power supplyplug-in assembly to supply electricity for the light-emitting diodes on the lamp panel.
