Summary:A fire alarm and fire extinguisher system for a diesel rail motor car is disclosed, and consists of a master machine of a fire alarm controller and a slave machine thereof, a temperature sensing probing line, a superfine powder fire extinguishing apparatus, a smoke sensing detector and an acousto-optic alarm. The system can automatically detect fire alarm in a special part of the train and uploads the fire alarm information to a train network. The fire alarm and automatic fire extinguisher system are specially designed for DMU (Diesel-Multiple-Unit). The system uses the temperature sensing probing line to detect fire and superfine powder fire extinguishing tanks are installed around the diesel engine. When fire occurs around the diesel engine, the system will automatically alarm and trigger the fire extinguisher to put out fire rapidly so as to protect the safety of personnel and vehicles.
