Summary:A portable electronic device and a shell thereof are provided. The shell of the portable electronic device comprises a bottom cover, a plurality of hinge lock attaching pedestals, and a plurality of frame structures. The hinge lock attaching pedestals are arranged on the bottom cover, each hinge lock attaching pedestal is provided with at least two screw holes, and the screw holes are used to fix a hinge assembly. The frame structures are connected with the bottom cover to wrap and fix the corresponding hinge lock attaching pedestals, and the two screw holes of each hinge lock attaching pedestal are exposed outside each frame structure. The hinge lock attaching pedestals can be more firmly fixed inside the shell, and are not easily shed from the bottom cover along with the movement of the hinge assembly, and the shell interior space used for arranging the hinge lock attaching pedestals can be reduced.
