The utility model discloses an LED energy saving lamp. Since LED bulbs are arranged on a planar plate in matrix, conventional LED lamp does not facilitate light scattering, and small in lighting angle and lighting scope. In order to overcome said problems, the utility model provides an LED energy saving lamp including a shield, LED bulbs, a holding plate, a PCB plate and a bottom cover, wherein the LED bulbs are fixed on the hemispherical holding plate, the power supply joints of the LED bulbs pass through the holding plate and connected with the PCB plate, and the lamp shield is detachably connected with the bottom cover. A concave lens, of which the external surface is convex, is arranged on the lamp shield. In such a structure, spherical holding plate enlarges light irradiating angle, and light exit angle is further enlarged through scattering by the concave lens with a convex external surface, thereby increasing lighting scope. The LED energy saving lamp is especially suitable for close-range lighting.
