A sputum suction device comprises a suction tube and a piston, wherein the end part of the suction tube is provided with a suction port, and the piston which is made from elastic materials (like rubber and plastic materials) is inserted from the other end of the suction tube, and can move along the axis direction of the suction tube under the action of external force in a reciprocating way. When the sputum suction device is used, the piston is pushed to the suction port end of the suction tube to discharge the air in the suction tube, then the suction port end of the suction tube is inserted into the mouth, the piston is pulled, mouth sputum enters the suction tube, then the suction tube is taken out from the mouth, the piston is pushed, so the sputum in the suction tube is discharged, then the suction port is placed in clean water, and the piston is repeatedly pulled and pushed to flush the suction tube cleanly.
