A novel shield-type fully mechanized hydraulic support for the thin seam is provided with characteristics and performances of a common four-bar shield-type hydraulic support, and mainly consists of upright columns, a top beam and a base which are arranged at two ends of the upright columns, wherein balanced jacks are hinged between the top beam and a shield beam, a lower end of the shield beam is hinged to a back part of the base, the top beam is hinged to the shield beam through the balanced jacks in order to adjust states of the top beam of the support, all the top beam, the shield beam and the base can be designed into split or integral types, a whole center distance of the novel shield-type fully mechanized hydraulic support for the thin seam can be adjusted with a chute of a conveyer.
