Summary:The utility model discloses an air bag type bumper which comprises a closed air bag type bumper casing, wherein a sealed pressure cavity is formed in the closed air bag type bumper casing; and a safe snuffle valve is mounted on the closed air bag type bumper casing. In case of a traffic accident, when the bumper suffers a collision, the air bag type bumper casing absorbs energy generated by the collision and deforms, so that the air pressure in the pressure cavity rises; when the air pressure in the pressure cavity is higher than the high pressure threshold value of the safe snuffle valve, the safe snuffle valve is opened, so that part of the air in the pressure cavity is drained out and the air pressure in the pressure cavity is reduced; and when the air pressure in the pressure cavity is lower than the low pressure threshold value of the safe snuffle valve, the safe snuffle valve is closed, and the bumper can buffer sequential impacts and be free from the phenomenon of cracking.
