A sector shaped worktable for elbow welding is disclosed, and belongs to the technical field of designing and making of worktable for elbow welding. A sector shaped table is provided on the sector table shaft of the big platform. A chain is provided in the chain fixing tank. A chain limiting roller is provided on the big platform. A speed reducer is provided on the output shaft of the electric motor below the big platform. A chain wheel is provided on the speed reducer. A hydraulic oil cylinder is provided below the oil cylinder fixing base. When the big platform is in a horizontal state, the work piece to be welded is disposed on the sector table. A clamp is used to lock the work piece, i.e. elbow. The hydraulic oil cylinder is then started, and the piston rod pushes the big platform up till to 90 degree. The welding gun is positioned to the welding place to weld. In the mean time, the electric motor is started.
