The tower crane monitoring device is characterized in that a data processing module circuit, an A/D conversion module circuit, a single chip microcomputer with a U-disk interface, a GPRS module, a U-disk, a clock circuit and an audible and visual alarm circuit are arranged inside a casing of the tower crane monitoring device; a gravity sensor, a height sensor, an amplitude sensor, a rotation sensor and a wind speed sensor are arranged outside the casing of the tower crane monitoring device; the signal output terminals of the individual sensors are connected with the corresponding signal input terminals of the data processing module circuit; the processed signals are converted by the A/D conversion module circuit and then inputted to the single chip microcomputer; and a control signal output terminal
