The workpiece clamping mechanism comprises a clamp adjusting seat, an adjusting plate and a fixed plate, wherein the adjusting plate can adjustably move relative to the fixed plate. Compared with the prior art, the workpiece clamping mechanism is arranged vertically, the cutter is arranged horizontally, thus solving the problem of corrosion to the surface of a battery by residual electrolyte when in pre-trimming after secondary sealing, com
