Summary:Disclosed is a planer type paring knife capable of collecting peels while paring something. The knife is formed by improving a hand-grip portion (a knife handle) of a traditional paring knife into a box type hollow design, and the whole knife body is a container capable of collecting peels. The knife edge is connected with a blade and the knife body through a soft plastic film, when the knife is used to pare something, peels can enter the container along the plastic film, thereby the utilization of the soft plastic film ensures the movement of the blade not to be affected, and simultaneously guarantees the pared-off peels to be totally collected. A lower cover of the knife body can be opened, thereby when the container is full, the lower cover can be opened at any time to dump the peels, and the operation is very convenient.
