The development machine onboard temporary support device is installed at pedestals at two sides of the development machine. The pedestal at each side is orderly provided with a cross frame, a turnover frame, a folding frame and a support frame. A shield beam is arranged between the support frames at two sides. The back of the cross frame is articulated with the back of the pedestal. The cross frame, the turnover frame, the folding frame and the support frame are articulated orderly. A hydraulic oil cylinder is arranged between adjacent articulating components. The development machine onboard temporary support device uses a mechanism driven by the hydraulic oil cylinder to apply certain primary support force towards a laneway crest slab, and the development machine onboard tempor
