The wiper device (10) comprises an arm lever (14), an arm member (16) and an arm member cover (20); the arm lever (14) is provided with a base end (14a) which freely rotates and is supported on a vehicle (11) through a shaft; the arm member (16) is provided with a fixed part (27) arranged on the front end (14b) of the arm lever (14) and a wiper blade (1) arranged on a bended part (29) protruding from the front end (14b); and the arm member cover (20) covers the arm member (16) and is provided with a peripheral surface (20c) approximately level with the peripheral surface (14e) of the front end (14b).
