The throttling shunt comprises a connecting pipe, joints, nuts, a shunt head and a shunt valve, wherein, the shunt head is provided with a valve cavity in which a throttling valve core is arranged, the throttling valve core is axially provided with throttling holes, both ends of the throttling valve core are provided with tapered truncated cones, and one end is provided with a circular groove in which a flexible seal ring is arranged. The throttling shunt has compact structure, high reliability, capillary tube component conservation, low cost and low noise, and can replace the existing shunt and the existing throttleer in an air conditioner, besides, throttling elements do not additionally occupy space.
