The electric connector comprises a base, a plurality of conductive terminals, a frame arranged on the base, a cover body arranged above the frame and a driving device driving the cover body to move relative to the base. The driving device comprises an operating rod; a holding piece is arranged on the frame; an interfering part is arranged on the holding piece. In the course of the operating rod opening, the interfering part generates interference action so as to provide an operating feel for the operator so that the operator can know that the cover body is completely opened; the interfering part also plays limiting function for the operating rod to keep the operating rod in open state and ensure that the integrated circuit element is not damaged in taking or placing.
